Attended an 8 hrs workshop in Prescott AZ - "Test Flying Your Project" - a great learning experience in preparation for getting safely through the FAA Airworthiness and Phase I flying. Lots of things to plan for and prepare. Not too early to start getting ready.
Already making some decisions on what to do, like whether to test aerobatics in Phase I. Also learned about implications of modifying the kit, and having to justify or document that to FSDO or DAR later.

Starting to think about scheduling some 'transition training' --
The other 2 hrs were spent learning about 'glass panel' design and lay-out from Bill DeRouchey, the EAA Chapter Pres in Prescott, who built one of the earliest RV-10's. Another great learning experience.
