Measured the alum tube push rod (W-616) -which was 10 ft long and reviewed plans. The exact length of the completed push rod cannot be determined until the wings are fitted and control surfaces are being rigged. However, the length is approximately 58.75" and half of 10 ft is 60 inches. It is more convenient to store two 60 inch tubes than to fight with a 10 ft tube in the garage. Therefore, I chose to rough cut the tube material in two equal parts, each 5 ft long for storage.
