Brief Description:  Fairings - in general but fiberglass

Worked on several areas and switched around as the resin set, or the muscles needed a change. The elevators have been disconnected to 'balance' them individually, and together. The counterweight on the R was a little heavy, while the L was a little light. Ordered a new "older RV-6 elevator lead weight" and removed one of the L weights, swapped with a bigger chunk of the new weight. Still a little light, but with the R & L together the lanace was almost perffect. Seems that should be a good compromise for a control surface which will have a manual trim cable attached, and the elevator control tube. The combined dmpening effect should be good.

Can be revisited in the future but removing a fairing riveted on with pull rivets is not desireable.

Put a couple of coats of micro on the aft tops of the wigtips to get the desired surface without a 'swoop' upward.

Another squeegeed layer of resin in selective areas of he top cowl, and more sanding to smooth it out. Looking very good except the alignnment with the lower cowl along the hinge lines. Will have to work more on the bootom in general.
