One last time to assembly the pieces loosely to review condition and preparations needed to complete final assembly. Looking for any damage or conditions that need remedial action before committing to the assembly. Screws in the fuselage overlap were installed. Tank was hung.
First time to attempt hinge pin completely from the inboard end, and it's tight. After insertion the aileron and flap alignment were checked. Discovered the underside of the outboard top skin does not have UHM tape as does the inboard skin. Alignment good and control stick centers where it should. Aft end of the wingtip has not been split and re-positioned to achieve TE alignment on the outboard corner. Bolts on the ailerons will need to be finalized. Aileron gap seal rivet sequence needs to be detailed in the checklist of riveting. All torques need final check and torque paint.
