Did more fiberglass on the empennage fairing, and removed the rudder fairing. Cut a relief slit in the fwd bottom and ground off some get coat which cracked badly. Will have to reshape and patch.
Added some more nutplates to the empennage components for the fairing, only one more to finish. Used the Unibit to make a 3/4" hole in the right side of the fuselage so that a socket extension can be used to insert and torque the elevator horn bolt. Will put a small cover over the hole.
Removed the wind tank attach brackets on the fuselage and checked fastener call-outs. Decided to redo attach angles inside fuselage because of the hole placed the nut so close to the angle that it was impossible to properly tighten and torque.
