Brief Description:  Flap link attachment

Re-fabricated the Lt wing flap linkage attach bracket to ensure it can be tightened and maintained over time. Borrowed this method from the RV-9A plans and it eliminates the 'nut' on the backside of the bracket, which is impossible to torque.

During this process, making a slightly longer bracket, I discovered that the plans spec only a .063 angle, not the .125 that I had used. Therefore I fabricated a new angle and flap attach bracket, using the correct material. Riveted on a nutplate for the flap linkage to attach, and tightened with an open-end wrench. Riveted the bracket back in the in-board flap end, and installed the flap hinge pin to test.

Angle of the linkage is MUCH improved, as is the access to the link joint to be tightened.

Now have to re-fab the Rt side ... tomorrow.
