A ground strap was floxed in near the leading edge baffle. The cable was looped and clamped to provide an anchor. The wire proceeds through bottom hole baffle so that it is available to the fuel cap area. One was installed in both the starboard and port tanks. The strap will be connected to the fuel cap ring to provide a ground connection from the surface of the fuel to the cap ring. Another ground wire will be connected to the cap ring and to the ground bar in the engine compartment. This ground bar will need to be connected to the engine block with a ground connection that will carry the current of the starter, but it will also allow the use of grounding connections to the exhaust pipe while fueling.
