Brief Description:  Installing the Electric Nose Gear System

The wiring connections were received to allow the full wiring of the nose gear. The automatic extension circuit box was installed on the aft port sideof F22 using click bond 10-32 posts. This is the first time that super glue was used to facilitate the installation. The super glue was from Gorilla glue. One did pop off, but I was able to successfully able to refasten it.

The P2 connector is being mounted under the radio stack. The wire bundle was routed through a connected hole below the hole in F22 that the manual extension rod penetrates. The P1 connector is being mounted forward of the actuator motor. All bundles are being laced to hold the main bundles together.

There are two wires that are intended to connect to the Engine Monitor System inside the Port Spar cavity. They were connected to P1 to monitor the status of the two position switches that provide indication of full up or full down.

The G4 ground block was installed on the port side to provide a digital/audio low power ground source. This will eventually be connected to G1 at the firewall. For now, a temporary ground wire is used to connect G4 to G3. This must be removed before flight.

Each wire is being labeled on each end for clarity. The final mounting of the wire bundles will follow as more wire bundles are installed.
