07/12/2008 I found a design change in Newsletter # 86 that I had not seen before. It requires an additional 2" of foam in the "battery well" of NG-30 since we don't place the battery there. I sanded and feathered the NG-30 back a few inches and 5 min epoxied a piece of foam in each NG-30 to the newsletter dimensions. I then layered 4 BID layers over the feathered area and the new foam on the inside of one fo the NG-30. I layed up 2 plys of UND across the entire piece. It was not clear whether theis should have been over all of the surface or just over the new foam piece. I chose to go over the entire NG-30. 07/13/2008 I layed up the same 4 BID and 2 UND on the inside of the other NG-30. 07/13/2008 I layed up the 4 BID and 2 UND on the outside of both of the NG-30. 07/15/2008 I cleaned up the edges and reassembled the two NG-30 with the nose strut and the frame for the electric retrack system
