Brief Description: Installation of the Box Assembly on the Fuselage
07/18/2008 I covered the F0 bulkhead with 1 BID and floxed it to the end of the NG30. I then used 2" BID tape to cover the flox on the inside and outside of the NG-30. I also covered the F5 bulkhead with 2 layers of BID and floxed it to the NG30s. I added the extra 07/19/2008 I cleaned up the layup from yesterday on the F0 and NG30 and F5. I layed down a layer of BID in the forward face of F0. 07/20/2008 I layed up 2 layers of BID on the aft face of F5 overlapping one inch on the sides. I also corrected the width of the center section of F22. I added two strips of foam and glassed over and peel plyd 07/21/2008 I cleaned up the layups and set up the NG-30 on supports and aligned to the center line. 07/22/2008 I floxed in my nose NG-30 and layed up 2 layer BID tapes on the inside of the NG-30 to F-22 connection and the corner connection on the outside. I used the laser to align my nose.
