03/29/2008 I checked the NG1 strut to make sure that it is symmetrical, which it is. I narrowed the strut where it will go into MKNG15. I may have narrowed a little too much. I can add layers of BID later if necessary. I did not shorten the strut yet. I want to shorten it according to how much room there is at the IP. I understand that it is easier to rotate if the nose gear sits a little high. I layed down 1 layer of BID and peel ply'd, 45° from the strut center line. 03/30/2008 I layed the last BID layer and peel ply'd 04/19/2008 I went back and trimmed the NL-1 strut to length and narrowed the strut so it will fit in the NG15. I had to re-lay up the BID coverings.
