Brief Description:  Making Lift Tabs, Inserts, Jigging Cores, Laying u

04/27/2007 Set up the center and outer cores on a pair of 12' 2x4". Leveled and centered. The center line took into account that the bottom and top spar caps are not equal depth.
04/28/2007 Finished alignment. Bondo'd nails to 2x4. Micro'd the center to outer cores. Removed foam for attach tab nut plates. Using a piece of metal as a guide, the nutplates were epoxied into place
05/04/2007 I Cut all the glass for the shear web.
05/05/2007 I layed up the shear web today. Left it peel ply'd I may have some cleanup work near the spar cap side wall. I placed the tape over it as the plans call for, but the epoxy almost did not allow me to remove it. I don't think it did any damage to the shear web.
05/06/2007 Looking at the sheer web after cure, it had one small area at the corner that had a bubble. I will try to fill it with epoxy later. I do have a lot of clean up along the spar cap edge. I drilled the holes in the wing attach nut plates.
05/07/2007 I floxed the attach tabs to the shear web and the attach points. I also started to clean up the spar cap wall. More clean up needed.
