Brief Description: Trimming the Foam Blocks and Cutting the Cores
04/07/2007 I made the templates for the canard cores. I copied the templates and glued them to formica. After cutting them out, I checked to the originals and trimmed the A&B templates together. 04/14/2007 I cut out the three main canard cores and the end tip cores. I cut the center spar section. Still need to cut the outer spar sections. 04/15/2007 I trimmed off the outer wing tip core. I cut out the spar cap cutouts on all three cores. 04/21/2007 I trimmed off the leading edges to expose the section to be glass on the shear web.
