Brief Description: Jigging and Bonding the Canard Sections Together
05/08/2007 I started making the K,E,F,H, and I templates. I didn't finish the K's because I messed up my copies. 05/11/2007 I finished the templates 05/12/2007 I set up the templates on the table and started to align all of the cores. I sanded down the shear web first to remove all bumps and make sure that all surfaces were sanded. I found the that the center core section where the elevator slot is located was slightly off template. So I sanded it to shape. 06/25/2007 I finally attached the rear section of the canard to the templates in preparation to attach the leading edges. This took a lot more agonizing on getting it perfectly level than I indicate here. 06/28/2007 I attached the leading edge.
