03/18/2006 I started to cut out the foam for the seat back brace and heat duct. I decided to cut it out before fiberglassing as I could not get all the pieces layed out on the piece that I had while keeping it continuous. I also cut out the glass in preparation for glassing 03/19/2006 Fiberglassed the pieces. I also cut out the aluminum piece for the fuel valve. I may move the valve to the front side of the throttle quadrant similar to Wayne Hicks. 03/21/2006 Cut the seatback support and air duct pices up and sanded them to shape. I cut out the plywood hardpoint for the fuel valve and the landing brake. I cut and bent the aluminum fuel valve bracket according to plans. Afterward, I realized that the plans bracket would not work with the new Allen valve that I purchased, so I need to redo this bracket. I may also move the valve to the front of the center console like Wayne Hicks has done. 03/24/2006 Trimmed the foam from the seatback support where the hardpoint is to go. Floxed it in. I floxed the heat duct together and used some pieces of cut up fir plywood as a makeshift form. I bondo'd them to the table and clamped the pieces around them. 03/25/2006 Trimmed the seat back support spacers and 5 min epoxied them to the right shape and dim. 03/30/2006 Floxed the sides of the seat back support together and applied a layer of BID to the exposed foam. Trimmed the heat duct to accept the seat belt attach tube 04/01/2006 Made a new bracket for the Allen fuel valve only to have it crack when I bent the ears! 04/02/2006 Made a new bracket for the Allen fuel valve and it did not break this time. Floxed in the bracket and the landing break tube and the seat belt attach on the heat duct. I also layed up the 7 layer UND for the seat belt attach point. 04/05/2006 Layed up 2 BID on one side of the seat back brace. 04/06/2006 Layed up the 2 BID on the other side of the seat back brace. Layed up the 2 BID on the heat duct. 04/07/2006 Trimmed all the glass on the seat back brace and the heat duct. Floxed the two tog
