10/12/2005 4-Chapter 3 Set up to cut out the IP. The drawings are not square. A lot of time was spent trying to determine the correct dimensions. 10/13/2005 4-Chapter 3 Cut out the IP. Not epoxied into one piece yet. 10/15/2005 - Epoxied the three halves of the IP. Sanded to form 10/19/2005 - Cut the glass cloth for the Instrument Panel (IP) 10/21/2005 - Glassed one side of IP w/ 2 BID and 1 UNI across the top. Used Peel Ply across entire surface. Using 2" is not the best way! 10/23/2005 - Glassed the aft side of the IP. 10/24/2005 - Trimmed the glass on the IP. Cut out and epoxied the stiffeners to the forward side of the IP. Still need to glass 10/26/2005 - Glassed the top side of the stiffener ribs on the IP 10/27/2005 - Glassed the remaining side of the stiffeners for the IP. What a job! I could not get the glass to lay down. Inspection afteward indicats that I did not gett all of it to lay down. I will need to remove some glass and rework this. 10/29/2005 - Sanded off glass. Almost all of the bottom side required rework. 10/30/2005 - Reglassed the Leg hole stiffeners. Used clamps and some angle jigs to hold down the glass on the bottom and the lip. It worked better, but not perfect. 11/02/2005 - Reglassed the upper stiffener 11/03/2005 - Finished the IP. 4.3 lbs
