01/17/20: 15Hrs 1. FF-0120 was centered on COWL-00006 and was used to mark the four screw holes. After verifying they had about the same edge distance, they were match-drilled #19. 2. A nutplate was used to match-drill the nutplate attach holes on COWL-00006 on all four #19 holes and these holes were countersunk. A drain hole was also drilled on the bottom of COWL-00006. 3. FF-00120 was instead stored until the powerplant installation. 4,5 Bottom cowl was attached to the fuselage, COWL-00006 was positioned to match the naca, opening, 8 holes were drilled #40 in order to attach it to the bottom cowl. A similar process was performed for VENT-00003. 6.Material was removed from VENT-00003 in order for a SCAT tube to fit on it.
01/21/20: 1Hr 7. All of the fiberglass parts were "glued" to the cowl using a mixture of epoxy and flox. Final sanding is pending.
04/13/20 2.8Hrs 8: The edges of the NACA inlets in the top and bottom cowl were sanded to creat smooth ramp.
