The empennage fairings were removed.
The top and bottom stabilator cables are attached and safetied.
Both rudder cables are attached and safetied.
Trim motor tray is attached and safetied.
Both rudder hinge points have the hardware properly installed.
Both stabilator hinge points have the hardware properly installed.
Moving the stick full aft makes the stabilator TE be down.
The stick can move before the stabilator begins to move.
Moving the stick full forward makes the stabilator TE be up.
The stick can move before the stabilator begins to move.
Moving the stick from full forward to full aft in both left and right positions shows no binding.
Trim up switch was fully actuated.
The stabilator was moved to full TE up.
Distance from center of AST to adjacent stabilator was 14.25mm.
Stabilator moved from full-up to full-down shows no binding.
At least 1/4" of clearance is achieved with the stabilator TE full up.
Trim down switch was fully actuated.
The stabilator was moved to full TE up.
Distance from center of AST to adjacent stabilator was 9.8mm.
Stabilator moved from full-up to full-down shows no binding.
At least 1/4" of clearance is achieved with the stabilator TE full up.
Trim was set to take off position.
Distance from center of AST to center of stabilator was 54.3mm with stabilator TE full up.
The EFIS display comes on and the battery was charged up to 13.6
NO EMPENNAGE INTERFERENCE
Rudder, anti-servo and stabilator skins are flat between the spar and trailing edge.
Verified trim on takeoff position
Holding the rudder full left shows a distance between its bottom and the center of the anti-servo pushhrod of 18.59cm.
Holding the rudder full right shows a distance between its bottom and the center of the anti-servo pushhrod of 17.92cm.
The rudder direction is correct when pressing the pilot's pedals.
The rudder moves smoothly between stops with no binding.
