I was anxious to get back and find out if the tape and hairspray trick worked, or it the fairing would be permanently stuck in place. It came off in one piece and fairly easily. The only spots that gave me any difficulty was around the leading edge of the stabilizers. I had used a plastic spreader to lightly pry the fiberglass awy from the fuselage and it was difficult to get to that area with the spreader. Overall this method worked well, was inexpensive and quick. I would use it again. The photos are of the fairing after it was removed and some of the excess trimmed off.
