I used dyct tape to lay outthe general shape that I wanted for the tail fairing. I made it larger than the original so that I would have plenty to trim for final shape. After I laid out the form, I taped saran wrap around the surroung skins to stop and run off or drops of resin that mmight fall from the brush. I then cut several pieced of fiberglass to fit the general shape of the fairing, and a bunch of smaller rectangular pieces for seams and to wrap around and under the leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer ( Photoa 2 and 3 were actullay taken after the glass had hardened. I pulled the saran wrap off before I remembered to take pictures).
