Brief Description:  Flight 32 - more Vy data

Collected more Vy data. I took off with less fuel than I thought, as I had gotten the idea that the tail-down fuel level markings were pessimistic. But in flight, it aligned with what I saw on the ground - took off with just over 6 gallons, and landed with just over 4. So after the flight I went right to the fuel station and added 10 gallons. Data as follows: OAT: 54.2F. Altitude, between 5500 - 6000 MSL. 2600 rpm. 130 mph - level flight. 120 mph - 200 FPM. 110 mph - 550 FPM. 100 mph - 750 FPM. 95 mph - 800 FPM. 90 mph - 800 FPM. Discontinued to return for fuel. Winds were 110 at 13 on departure. And I gave a student pilot some help. He called 5 miles north to make a right pattern for 30. I guess he didn't hear the wind, so I gave it to him and said that favored runway 12. He then called right downwind entry for 12. I told him from where he was, he would make either a left base or a straight in approach. He took the straight in. Not perfect, but it kept us on the ground and anyone else in the air going the right direction. Then the next guy called 17 miles north, right traffic for 12. Someone else jumped in to say 12 is left traffic. I was on the way out by then. At the fuel station after returning, the guy on the next pump in a Bonanza asked a few questions, then pointed out that the Gulfstream (shown) belongs to a very famous golfer.
