Brief Description: Flight 31 - Vy data

0.6 flight time. First attempt at Vy data. Set up a racetrack into/out of the wind at 5500' MSL. OAT 42.7F. Was climbing roughly 500' on the straight, and descending in the turn. Weight: around 932 lbs. (662 lbs empty, me + gps + headset ~210, fuel ~60). Data at 2700rpm, read off the VSI (didn't do timed climb): 135 mph, 150 fpm. 120 mph, 550 fpm. 110 mph, 750 fpm. 100 mph, 850 fpm. 90 mph, 1150 fpm. 80 mph, 1100 fpm. Then I did one power off, no flaps stall and returned to the airport. I didn't go slower as the nose is pretty high up at 80 mph. I haven't done a power on stall yet, though I know there's plenty of margin on airspeed here. Landing was on runway 21 for the first time, and since it was early morning, my shadow was ahead of me. This messed up my sight picture and I flared a little high, but it settled in tailwheel first.
