Brief Description:  Flight 18

0.6 flight time. Climb to 5000, plan was to descend to get 160mph, but in a gentle push to level and just holding the nose down, got 160mph without altitude change. Saw maybe 3150rpm. Pulled power back slightly to get 150mph and did some gentle banked turns at that speed. Reduced power to 2600 to get 125 mph and did some steep turns. Made a few holding patterns listening to the other traffic at the airport. Did a no-flaps stall. Broke wing heavy left - another indication that the right flap is too high. Noticed that the fuel level showed between 11 and 12 gallons in flight, but about 7 gallons on the ground (I calibrated 1 gallon increments at both flight level and tailwheel on ground orientations, so it's not that). I suspect dynamic pressure on the tank may push the fuel back and up the sight tube, or 125mph is too tail-low. I'll have to figure that out. In the pattern, another indication that the left flap is lower than the right is I released the stick to see where it would go and it banks left fairly quickly. First flight with the gear leg fairings installed. I didn't notice any reduced drag (not enough data to tell), but they get sucked forwards at the upper ends. I don't have the to-print "anchor hole" in the fwd fuse floor, but I'll add something to hold these back.
