Brief Description:  Flight 9

0.3 flight time. Before the flight, replaced cotter pin at the right aileron pushrod because it could wobble around to touch the flap. Added the "permanent" battery charger lead to the battery and tie wrapped it to one of the battery cables for convenient connection. Replaced voishan seal at the right oil cooler hose joint. Did a quick once around the pattern. Engine runs great, airplane flies great - STILL chasing an oil leak around. All the left side stuff is SOLVED - oil filter, oil filter spacer, oil filter spacer fittings, and both hoses that attach there. As in the last flight, now the RIGHT SIDE of the oil cooler is leaking. After the flight, tied the airplane to the car and ran the engine on the ground. Couldn't see anything. Put maybe 15 degrees more turn on the hose nut there then put the plane away. I'm starting to suspect that the oil cooler core may have a problem, but there's evidence of oil on the joint and on the intake manifold tubes above the joint. May fly again to test this additional tightening of the nut, but also considering how to check the cooler core for leaks.
