Removed the RH panel and checked the nutplates without a panel in the way. Found one nutplate that was stripped, so drilled off the rivets and used a nut there. Tightened the RH end fasteners for the bottom cross beam, since it was not tightened down. Changed out the fasteners on the blank off plate from SST to blackened brass to match the other instruments. Put the RH panel in. Put the fuel sight tube in - figured out it would work to run the grommet up the sight tube then push the grommet into place on the panel. Put the clamps on the sight tube, then put it through the lower panel hole. I think I'll paint this little panel extension to match. Put the LH panel in place, but only started a fastener or two to keep it from falling out. Need the VSI in place before tightening all this down.
