Started with the side trims on the canopy frame. Bent the upper forward and aft corners of these inwards to compensate for the "bowed out" shape of the canopy. That pushes each end of the trim outwards. This will leave a little forwards step at the bottom of the canopy. Then located the mixture cable on the panel. Needed to do this to locate the throttle handle and needed that to ensure it cleared the canopy latch. Worked on the canopy latch for most of this time. Found interferences in different places and filed on the hook angle, mostly to get the action smooth. Also drilled out one rivet on the frame to add the spring clip. Added the outside "handle" to the latch. Enlarged the slot in the side trim to clear the handle.
