Continued drilling the panel support angles for about 1/2 hour. Set the 3 solid rivets per side on the top of the spar box. Used a borrowed rivet gun, took about 1/2 hour total, including set up. Took about 1/2 hour to drill the forward angles to the upper firewall, and another hour to finish drilling the angles and mocked up the panel with cardboard. These angles took a while because I set the glareshield forwards 1/16" from nominal, then set the angles for the panel forwards 1/16" from the aft edge of the glare shield. These two offsets get me the 1/8" needed to run a cross beam across the bottom of the panel attached to the forward side of the two spar box angles. The baseline configuration has the panel side support angles mounted to the aft side of the two spar box angles, with the panel exactly even with the aft side of the two angles. My panel being 1/16" thick, will end up 1/16" forward of the baseline design at the bottom edge.
