Spent about 1/2 hour getting ready to polish - rinsing out the polishing bonnets that had been soaking since the last polishing, putting plastic over the work table, and paper on top of that. Restacking items on the work table to make room. Started polish, but the bonnet was still wet, and this is a disaster. The polish sets down on the surface making a hard, waxy coating, and no polishing occurs. Came back after the phenolic work and the bonnet was dry. Seemed to be cutting the surface really well. Carol gave me the idea to cover the bonnet with plastic bags so it wouldn't dry so much between uses. Did this, and went back later and got 2 more hours in.
