Made up a plate to hold the Southco for the below-prop fastener. This plate has to be bent to fit the cowl. Drilled some holes in it so the epoxy would have something to grab, and installed the receptacle on it. Laid it into the cowling with 3 layers of glass over the top. While I had the epoxy mixed, I added some filler and filled around the oil check door hinge. Also painted the panel extension for the fuel sight tube.
