Brief Description:  Cowling installation

Trimmed the top center build-up. The glass seems to back up the epoxy just fine, though long strands of glass were catching on the dremel as I trimmed the edge. I just let the glass hang out past the filled epoxy - no need for a nice edge there as it gets trimmed off. Then I fit it and it seems to fit pretty well except near the front. I'll cut that off and build it up again so it's curved down towards the left side more. The sheet metal form just kind of took off on a tangent to the surface at the front, which caused the built-up area to be higher than it should be. I started installing the bottom center hinge. Taped the two cowling halfs together on the floor. Spring clamped the hinge in place and started drilling it to the cowl halfs from the inside out. The hinge is about 1 1/2" too long - I guess that allows for variation in locating the oil cooler air inlet.
