Brief Description:  Elev pushrod cover

Another elevator pushrod cover. This one is in the center of the seat. For the lowered seat the elevator idler pushrod is high enough that the seat needs to have an opening cut in it, and there needs to be something to cover the pushrod. The Sonex plans updates web page describes this in text, but I haven't seen this or seen photos of it anywhere. I guess where upholstery has been made, it's easy enough to just leave the center of the seat cushion hollow in that area so the top of the seat looks even all the way across. I might have "NO STEP" or something embroidered there when I have a seat pad made. I already have the small arch-shaped cover made up, so today's work was to fab some attachment strips for it. These are 8" long by 1" wide, and will be riveted to the channel stock on the floor. Also spent a little time with WD40 removing some masking tape residue from the rudder and tail access cover. I had written the bolt size and number of washers for the vertical tail spar on tape, and had taped paper over the edge of the access cover opening.
