Spent about 1 hour on the glare shield installation. Riveted the sides, installed the bolts at the motor mount. Spent about 1/2 hour making spacers for the fuel tank straps to bring them down in the fuselage some. Spent the rest of the time installing the straps, then installed the tank from the rear and finally clecoed the upper firewall in place. Looks like longer bolts will be needed to draw the straps together. It has been good to leave the upper firewall un riveted up to this point. Will need to remove the tank to cut the neck down 1/8" to 1/4", install the fittings on the tank, work out how long the bolts need to be then do the final install.
Easy to push tank in from behind.
Install tank before upper firewall and aft brackets.
