Installed the fittings on the fuel tank. Used the Permatex #3. Was told later it may stay sticky for a long time, but for this application, it should work fine, since the fittings are essentially sealed by the metal pipe threads, and extra sealant may not even be necessary. Was pretty easy to thread in the 2 plugs where the sight tube would go, the AN4 for the vent, and the screen, male/male adapter, valve, and AN6 on the outlet of the tank.
