Using a ¾” dowel rod, I taped the rod to the flaps of aluminum that would make up the leading edge. Curled the aluminum around the rod to gently make the proper curve. The aluminum closer to the bottom was formed with a 1” rod due to the larger radius required to make the form. Once formed and Clecoed, all holes were drilled to a 1/8th and riveted with a blind rivet. The rudder counterbalance was reinstalled per the plans.
