Cut, trimmed and cleaned all the skin stiffeners for the elevators. The few that need additional measuring and trimming (E-720J, K, L) will be set aside until I’m ready to fit them to their respective skin. I’ve elected to build the elevators one at a time to eliminate any chance of putting a stiffener in a cross side skin. Both left and right skins (E-701L/R) were prepped for the stiffeners. I removed portions of the protective film over the rivet lines. I then divided the stiffeners between the two skins then took all of the left side stiffeners and set them aside. I Clecoed the right elevator skin stiffeners in place and final drilled all holes to #40. I then removed stiffeners from the upper side skin and marked all with a prick punch for identification.
