I riveted the skin of the vert stab onto the front spar/rib assembly. I began at the intersection of VS-707 and VS-702 and worked upwards to the tip, then worked back down to the root. Once the skin was in place I Clecoed and riveted the aft spar into place. Finally, I used blind rivets to attach rib VS-707 to the aft spar. During the construction I used care to ensure that I didn’t rivet the holes that the blueprints marked as attachment points for the vert stab fairing. I wonder if these areas needed to be dimpled. The plans did not specify at this point. The holes used to attach the end cap to the vert stab have not been dimpled. If they need to be, they may be done at a later time.
