Using a Scotchbrite pad, the inside rudder skin (R-801PP) surface was prepared for priming. Doing this prior to dimpling seemed to make the Scotchbright pads last much longer. The rudder skin was then dimpled at the skin stiffener attachment areas and primed. Primed and back riveted the left side rudder skin stiffeners to the rudder skin using AN426AD3-3.5 rivets.
