After straitening ribs HS-404 and HS-405, I located and drilled the first rib location on the front spar. All went according to plan. The measurments for the second rib were off and I will not be able to mainitain proper edge didstance on rivets. As a result, I will be replacing reinforcing bar HS-810-1, spar channel HS-702 and one of the ribs HS-405. Very frustrating. I was able to drill the remaining rib-to-spar attachment areas to #30. Three hours of work to get 10 minutes worth of progress. Not good.
This hole is too close to the edge of HS-404.
Pilot hole below minimum edge spacing. Would be worse when final drilled.
