Today I started to prepare the ribs of the horizontal stabilizer. All ribs were deburred and polished on the Scotchbrite wheel then fitted into place on the stabilizer. There locations were marked and labeled accordingly. I was required to locate the position of the rivet holes on rib HS-405. To do so I temporarily installed the skins and positions the ribs in place. Using a marking pen, I located the holes using the skins as a template. After locating the rivet hole positions on HS-405, I installed flutings between the rivet holes on the rib flanges to pull the ribs strait.
