Cleaned out inside of fuel tank. Cut off top stud on fuel sending unit for clearance on fuel tank cover. Used a 5/16" ring terminal on bottom portion of sender stud and attached positive wire (red striped) and reassembled on tank, float facing inboard. Checked resistance on sender reading was 10-ohms when tank is empty, 180 ohms full. Cut 6- tank "U" Channels to length.
