I bought a pack of 12, 2", swivel castors on Amazon for $13. What a deal! I made my stand about 6 ft long instead of 5 ft on the drawing. Just worked out better with the lumber I had and extra length is good.
I completed all of the work on the stand except the carpet slings. I may use some wide, nylon tie-downs I have in the garage, or look for something else. I really don't have easy access to carpet scraps.
