Brief Description: 2 - Adjusted rudder cable tension and stops
I talked with TAF yesterday, and they clarified how the return springs do not necessarilly need to return the rudder pedals, rather they allow the rudder to stay in the desired position with limited force on the pedals during flight. Also, that I should fly the plane first and see how I like the feel before attempting to increase the spring force, so that's what I'll do.
I adjusted the cable tension with the pushrods, and tightened the locknuts. I also removed the heat shrink tubing from one end of the cable crimps so that it would not interfere with its purpose as a hard stop for the springs. I then ajusted and tightend the stop brackets.
