With the pedals centered the push rods are about 15mm too long. I looked in the manual and found that the pipe length of the rod is supposed to be about 230mm, but mine are 250mm (9-7/8") long.
I don't see any other obvious way to correct this other than to drill out the cap rivets, shorten the push rod pipe by 20mm or so, and re-rivet the assembly.
I have an email into TAF to verify that this is what I should do before I proceed.
