Brief Description: Final Install of Right Outer Side Skin with Clecos
I never heard back from TAF on how to deal with the hole alignment so I soldiered on and figured out a way. I started by inserting clecos in the skin about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom figuring I could call this the base line and force the skin in either direction. I then used a small awl to located and force the skin over the bottom panel rivet holes. After I had a few clecos in the bottom, I put a few more at the top. And thats it, just worked it like a fabric to flatten it out.
I'll do the left side next and probably not rivet anything yet until I finish and join the rear fuselage. If there's one thing I've learned its easier to remove 50 clecos than150 rivets!
