Brief Description: 1 - Sand and prime right side fuselage
I used Scotch Brite to sand and self etching primer on the right side fuselage members and lower part of the skin where contact will be made after riveting.
I started assembling the side skin with clecos and had no problem until I got to the bottom where it overlaps the bottom skin. I couldn't force the hole to line up close enough. Some of the problem may lie with the lower radius of the firewall and the two metal strips for the cowling. There's a lot of sheet stack-up there that needs to be sandwhiched.
I have an email into TAF SA for advice, and should get an answer overnight.
