Brief Description: Punched holes in Firex material
I received the punch tools a few days ago and did some test punching. Twisting the punch while pushing down on the foam against plywood works fair, but it doesn't really cut the plastic liner on the back very well at all. This doesn't really matter as it will be pulled off later anyway, but removing it makes it easier to check hole alignment.
I also inserted the metal tab through the battery strap, poked holes with an awl, and then riveted it to the firewall.
