I still haven't received the two plates that cover the hole in the firewall, and I'm not even sure if I need them. I scaled the drawing in solidworks and created a template for the plates so I can make the hole any size I need.
I used scraps of cardboard boxes to pieces together a single template for the firewall insulation. It worked pretty well, but I haven't removed it yet. I'll need to make sure it stays taped together well during removal.
