Brief Description: Completed cabin heat control box
After a month of hiatus from the airplane, I recieved most of my missing parts and now have enough work to keep me busy on finishing incompleted tasks.
The plans for the cabin heat box call for a separate part to mount the pipe, but upon closer inspection, the strange design on the existing box are the unbent tabs that replace this part. I marked the diameter of the pipe, bent the tabs up 90 degrees and finessed them with shrinking pliers. I then measured the height location of the first hole, drilled it, and then inserted the pipe to drill the opposite hole. I did the same with the adjacent holes, deburred and clecod the asssembly to the firewall.
