I drilled holes and inserted grommets in the Vstab ribs for both the antenna leads and the strobe wires. I then ran the antenna lead through the grommets and routed a brass wire for pulling the strobe wires from the rudder at final assembly. I marked the skin on both sides for the antennas and used a 3/8" drill bit for the holes with a slit down the middel for installation.
I started out with 3/8" diameter holes and ended up going with 1/2" for position clearance. The rivet holes on either side of the antenna hole are useless since they are on top of the antenna puck. I may make and rivet a cover plate later to clean it up.
