I installed the forward cockpit rib with mounting brace to the console. I never figured out why one side of the brace only had four large holes while the other side was proper for riveting, so I drilled match drilled the rivet holes on that side.
I attached to rib to the top rails and gusset, but I didn't rivet the gusset to the top rail yet as I will need to adjust the rail during skinning.
I removed the engine mount before installing the above as I thought it might be torquing the assembly. More on that next.
